Many watercolor artists struggle with muddy colors, overworked passages, and paintings that lack energy. Together we'll explore practical techniques that will help you better understand the unique nature of watercolor and use it to your advantage.

Tuesday, August 4, 11 & 18

1:00 - 3:00 pm

During this series you'll learn how to:

• Control the relationship between water and pigment.
• Create cleaner, more vibrant color mixtures.
• Paint with confidence instead of hesitation.
• Develop looser, more expressive brushwork.

Each class will include demonstrations, guided painting exercises, individual instruction, and plenty of time to paint. Students will receive personalized critiques and practical suggestions they can immediately apply to their own work.

All levels of experience are welcome. Whether you're looking to strengthen your fundamentals or breathe new life into your watercolor paintings, you'll leave each session with techniques you can use again and again.

Bring your watercolor supplies and a willingness to experiment. You'll be surprised how a few small changes can dramatically improve your paintings.
